Great ambiance, live banda while we enjoyed some delicious food. I highly recommend the oysters supremos and drinks.
The food my fiance got was amazing according to him he got costa azul and sushi. I got the breaded shrimp and let me tell you the breaded shrimp was not good. It's breaded in like a fish fry and was over fried. However the rice and beans were amazing. Drinks still taste the same so they're good. I'm not super convinced yet that el jefe has changed. Also to obtain the promotion it's not granted freely you need to do a yelp of google review. Staffing is still the same as well as the management from the staff that I see which is why I'm not convinced yet that this place has changed
Had a great time! Aguachiles verdes were amazing in flavor! Our server Alice, went above and beyond and was very attentive. We came during norteña night and it was so fun, not too loud! 10/10 Will be back
Amazing vibes, live banda inside on a Sunday. Spicy tuna, Salmon tuna and el Jefe roll were great and full of flavor. Carnitas fries were bomb ass and a pretty big portion. The arrachera asada plate was also good with portion, however it did lack some flavor. For drinks we got micheladas, palomas, and cucumber pineapple margarita which were all good. Our server Santiago is very attentive, friendly, fast and accurate. Thank you.

Great service, ordered aguachiles shrimp with a tostada mixta to enjoy with our refreshing beer. Food was great would recommend. Banda night a plus ... enjoyed our night ! Great ambiance .
First time trying El Jefe and I was pleased with the food!! The chips and salsa were very delicious and my order of chicken tostada. My order was wrong, I did not want tomatoes but I decided to just not send it back. The service was decent, it was pretty packed so it took a while to order. The ambiance is very fun and the outside seating area/patio is very nice. They have a live band that sings and you can dance ! A very good vibe for sure! I will come back again to try more good off the menu! It's plenty of parking in the lot and it's located in downtown Pomona! -Marshay D.
I came in on Saturday 1/11/2025 for dinner and had an amazing experience for my 1st time here! Food: Portions are big and flavorful. I got the trio fajitas which comes with rice and charro beans. My boyfriend got the La arracherita asada plate and highly raved about it. Service: Our waitress was so attentive, kind, and overall so great! Ambiance: We watched the NFL games on their tvs where they have plenty of. They were playing reggaeton and then the live music began. Highly recommended for a date night and large groups! Overall I will definitely be coming back with family to enjoy the great food!
